Naked neighbour, WWYD?

I'm going to start this by saying that the reality is I'm going to do nothing because I'd find it too mortifying, but I'm curious what others would do, if anything!

Basically I'm on maternity leave and breastfeeding so I'm often trapped on the sofa feeding the little one. I sit opposite a window and the TV is by the window. In the line of sight is my neighbours windows. I can see probably 3/4 houses from there.

One of my neighbours (I don't know her) is quite regularly naked in her bedroom with the curtains open. I notice this mainly at night as the light is on. It's a bit of a jump scare 😂

Anyway, I've wondered if she doesn't realise that she can be seen, as our houses aren't super close, and she doesn't galavant starkers right in front of the window, she's clearly further back into her room.

I've thought that maybe I should nip round and say that it doesn't bother me but maybe she doesn't realise? However the thought is horrifying to me. I even considered sending an anonymous letter, but there's only three houses it could come from, so pretty identifying.

Part of me thinks that if she isn't shutting her curtains then she clearly knows it's a risk that she could be seen but doesn't care.

If it was me, and I didn't realise I could be seen, I'd appreciate a heads up but would feel so awkward seeing them again knowing they've seen me in my birthday suit!

I walk naked in front of my bedroom and there are definitely neighbours who can potentially see. Couldn't give a toss tbh, their funeral... it's hardly a nice view 😂

I live opposite the woods and growing up lived in a victorian terrace facing a hospital. I think I find it hard to imagine anyone can see easily into anyones windows.

In the victorian terrace you could see people in the buff behind Bathroom frosted glass, but honestly you need to be looking. Glazing up in the kitchen maybe you might see.

I can't imagine unless your looking or have a window seat.

I wouldn't say anything, she's probably aware. I know my neighbour see my boobs last week when I was shutting my curtains, she was walking up the garden path and waved before a look of horror appeared in her eyes 😂
Your neighbour knows how windows work and if she can see into yours she's aware you can see into hers, she obviously doesn't care.

I do find it a bit odd that there's been a few comments on this thread telling me to shut my curtains or avert my eyes (presumably for the sake of this woman's dignity). I don't like to have my curtains shut and without shutting them, the only way I can guarantee not to see her would be to sit there with my eyes closed, move my TV or sit in the corner of the room (on the floor?) even though I've clearly said it doesn't bother me.

If the woman concerned has children who could be teased or worse at school if another child saw her, then I think a discreet word would be appropriate.

Otherwise ignore.

In the summer, l often mow the lawn topless. If someone goes to great efforts, l can be seen. Will l make an MN future thread🤣?

Funny, when it’s a male neighbour, the replies are all along the lines that he’s a pervert, a paedo, he’s doing it on purpose, call the police won’t someone think of the children.

I once got the police out to complain about someone I could see wandering around their house naked.

He said he couldn't see it.

I explained you had to stand on top of the wardrobe bent double and use binoculars at 14 39 pm every other day.

i don't care if they see my tits. They're not much different than anyone else's. Admittedly they're not the perky things of my youth, but I just don't care.

likewise my fanny, but I doubt they'd be able to.

i don't stand pressing against my windows, but I do walk between my bedroom & bathroom naked IN MY house.

im more self conscious of my belly than my boobs, if anyone keeps looking into my windows that trauma is on them. Sorry, not sorry.

I'm wondering if it's me. I regularly walk from my bedroom to the bathroom/shower, past the landing window, starkers. If it's nighttime and the landing light's on....

I wouldn't thank anyone coming and telling me they're embarrassed on my behalf. I'm not bothered and they can choose not to look or tune in every evening if voyeurism is their thing

Me too. I don’t think anyone can see me as we live on a hill and have a massive garden with lots of trees but tbh, I’m not that fussed if they can. We’ve all got the same equipment and we’re all naked under our clothes.
