Naked neighbour, WWYD?

I'm going to start this by saying that the reality is I'm going to do nothing because I'd find it too mortifying, but I'm curious what others would do, if anything!

Basically I'm on maternity leave and breastfeeding so I'm often trapped on the sofa feeding the little one. I sit opposite a window and the TV is by the window. In the line of sight is my neighbours windows. I can see probably 3/4 houses from there.

One of my neighbours (I don't know her) is quite regularly naked in her bedroom with the curtains open. I notice this mainly at night as the light is on. It's a bit of a jump scare 😂

Anyway, I've wondered if she doesn't realise that she can be seen, as our houses aren't super close, and she doesn't galavant starkers right in front of the window, she's clearly further back into her room.

I've thought that maybe I should nip round and say that it doesn't bother me but maybe she doesn't realise? However the thought is horrifying to me. I even considered sending an anonymous letter, but there's only three houses it could come from, so pretty identifying.

Part of me thinks that if she isn't shutting her curtains then she clearly knows it's a risk that she could be seen but doesn't care.

If it was me, and I didn't realise I could be seen, I'd appreciate a heads up but would feel so awkward seeing them again knowing they've seen me in my birthday suit!

Knows but most likely doesn't care. Lack of inhibitions. If she is anything like the neighbour near me. So not much point telling her .

This could well be me, maybe I should name change 😆. I never close the bedroom curtains, there's no one directly opposite us, although there are houses that could potentially see in and we are on a main road. It actually never occurs to me that anyone might be looking and tbh I don't care. I don't stand in front of the window waving my arse or anything. It's just the brief period of changing my clothes or getting dry. I'm always amazed by threads like this where the response is the perpetrator is an exhibitionist doing it deliberately to be seen. I just never give it a thought and I'm just going about my day!

I knew a man who used to stare at people from the window of his house when he was completely starkers. I used to worry he was a perv, then I got to know him more and I think he was just completely unaware. He lived in a world of his own most of the time.

Unless you see this as a threat (l assume unlikely), l would do absolutely nothing. She has a right to be naked in her own home.

Can you see into her neighbours windows?

If not, then I’d just ignore it.

But if you can then it’s possible your neighbours can see her.

There’s nothing wrong with being naked in your own home but some creepy neighbour could be taking photos of her.

I wouldn’t know how to tell her without making it sound like you’re a creepy weirdo looking in her windows.

Hopefully he’ll read this thread and worry that she does it and so stop.
Give it a few more days and if she’s stopped then chances are she’s read this thread.
If she hasn’t then it may have to be a note through the door (I would say it’s from you too so she doesn’t think it’s some creep).

Mind your business. She knows how windows work, she doesn’t care, but she probably expects you not to gawp

Perhaps you should stop looking in her window.

Just be aware that if you go down the anonymous note route that most people have cameras, either doorbell ones or hidden in the front window or under the eaves. There's no such thing as posting something anonymously these days!

If it bothered me, I wouldn’t look up at her window. Or I’d draw the curtain if it bothered me that much.

Anonymous note is fine. Just word it kindly.

Ha! Same! I dont ALWAYS walk around naked, but my blinds are never closed, so if people see anything, they see it! Dont look in my window if you are uncomfortable!

We had a "worse" situation in our old house with a woman who would sit on her balcony fully nude. A real jumpscare and she obviously knew people could see her as she was outsid!

Thanks all! Looks like the consensus is that she knows and doesn't care so I'll carry on doing nothing.

I haven't mentioned it to anyone IRL so there's no chance of anyone looking out for it to take photos etc unless they've already noticed.

That's why we have those things called curtains. I wouldnt want my neighbours seeing my tits and fanny.
