What is the most underrated destination you have ever been?

Following on from the very interesting previous thread of most overrated destinations, what do you think is one of the most underrated or unexpectedly good destinations you’ve been to?

I don't really get what you are trying to say.

By Southern Ireland I meant the part NOT in the North. As I understood it, there are two parts. I have no idea where the elderly lady was from but as she had what I thought was an Irish accent of sorts (and no I cannot 100% confirm that being only 1/4 Irish myself and never been to any part of Ireland myself). She said Southern Ireland to me as far as I remember or she may have said in the south. It was a while ago.

I have already said I went to Albania two years after the dictator died. He died in 1985 which would have made it 1987 when I went.

No idea who/what Peig Sayers is/was. I went with Jules Verne and just to clarify - I mean the holiday company as Jules Verne himself is no more!!
