What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever included in your DC's lunch bag?

A few years ago, all stressed about finding something allergen-free for DD to take to school on her birthday, I went to the school's office to discuss the options with the staff just before pickup. At the time I was very sleep-deprived because of 2nd DC who didn't sleep well at night. When I went a few minutes later to pick her up, the teacher asked to talk to me for a second. While being all fussy about allergens, etc. with the staff because I honestly was worried about DDs classmates (DD doesn't have allergies), I had included in her lunch bag walnuts as a snack!!!

Sent DD into reception class with coffee in her lunchbag 5 days in a row. We stored little bottles of milkshake next to the coffee in our drinks fridge and 2 weeks PP me had to reach blindly into the fridge as I couldn't bend down.

She didn't need help with her lunch so drank every bottle, thankfully no bad side effects.

@Ena23 I was only about 8 so didn't get in trouble, just handed it to the teacher and in guessing my mum got them back at pick up😂

😂 Did it melt?

The lunch bag was a coolbag with a freezer pack in it, so it survived ok

Your poor mum! But is she used to eat it at home?

It wasn't an unusual food for her, but certainly unusual to have it put in a lunch box and be the only food given!
