A friend just told me that the most delicious thing in the world is this. Get a McDonald's apple pie. Break off one end and eat the filling with a spoon. Then pack the empty case with chips. I REALLY want to try. Anyone with me?

Er no. Not since the Great Blistered Lip Incident of 1983 have I been even remotely tempted by anything like that in McD.

Potato pie / tart is a thing in some cuisines. As are rostis with apple sauce.

I'd try it, but suspect it's a load of faff for mediocre results!
