The baby was born on a boat, who delivered it, made sure she was ok etc.

so many questions about this without even going into the ludicrous!

Well skippers often have quite good first aid training because they might have to cope will all sorts of medical emergencies while out at sea.

I'm sure that the training they have in heart attacks, broken bones, electrocution and the like is transferrable to midwifery....

Fraaahnces · 11/08/2023 14:55

Some people are far too selfish and stupid to be allowed to have kids.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 11/08/2023 14:55

Was Formby Sands closed?

well no bloody wonder the High Commission is asking for DNA tests.

Anyone could claim anything about a newborn they happen to rock up with.

if their story is true then they are fuckwits of the first order. Selfish, stupid, arrogant thick fuckwits.

Littlewhitecat · 11/08/2023 15:08

They left the UK in March! That poor 8 year old

painochocolate · 11/08/2023 16:24

Whhhyyyy

Sugarplumfury · 11/08/2023 16:26

Of course it ok. What could possibly go wrong .

Liverpool52 · 11/08/2023 16:30

This year's winner of the Darwin Award is....

LolaSmiles · 11/08/2023 16:30

This seems too stupid to be as it seems.

Why travel half way around the world, risk the health/life of mother and baby to give birth off record, and then show up expecting a few day old baby to be given a passport for a foreign country?

The poor child back home as well. Way to say that you're not your parents' priority anymore.

Vitriolinsanity · 11/08/2023 16:30

Give a thought for the outcome if she had made it to the beach.

Halfway through a persistent looky looky man rolls up.

Sand in places sand should never go.

The baby with so much sand it looks like an emery board.

A lady offering to braid your hair.

Sunbathers

Wedding couples paddling

The boat, under questionable circumstances was the least worst outcome of this mental adventure.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 11/08/2023 16:56

I dont think it's turned out to be the romantic story she planned in her head has it? "I gave birth on a beach under the stars as the waves lapped against the shore" V "I gave birth on a boat, we ran out of money and instead of only our personal acquaintance's knowing we are dumb as rocks we went to the press so now loads of people know we are dumb as rocks and now people feel sorry for our kids waaahhhhhh"

Whole family has been flagged up to be as thick as mince. He's as bad as her.

Ozgirl75 · 11/08/2023 17:17

Amazing that this is her second child too. When I was pregnant with my first I had this insane romantic vision of giving birth under the stars, in a beautiful outdoor part of Australia where we live. I did not of course do this, I had him in a hospital like a normal person.

Then I actually HAD a baby and I had the second one in a nice hospital with no dirt, mozzies or no medical folk 😁 and with as many drugs as I could request.

It’s been a long time since a MN post made me snort with laughter 😂

They flew when she was 35 weeks! Which means she planned to leave her 8 year old for a good 2 months! 2 months! At 8!

This!

What a pair of thundercunts. And he's 51. So they have no brains?!

Maybe it's a blessing they're not around to be honest. There's something fishy in this story which isn't being told, and hopefully now they are on SS radar.

Iknowthis1 · 11/08/2023 17:31

Idiots

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 11/08/2023 17:33

I’m by no means convinced that this story is entirely truthful.

That poor child left behind! These selfish dickheads are not fit to be parents.

Diddykong · 11/08/2023 17:35

Rodney Bay doesn't sound so exotic. She should have tried the isle of dogs

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 11/08/2023 17:38

Tod have thought that at some point between booking the tickets and going they'd have researched the rules around registering a baby and returning it to the UK from the places they were going to be.

notprincehamlet · 11/08/2023 17:41

I did more research replacing a float valve

mrwalkensir · 11/08/2023 17:44

I'm guessing local beaches in the UK are a bit too sewagey or pebbley....
