All inclusive but with private pool, does this even exist?

Looking at Spain. Max 2.5 hr flight from Manchester for 2024.

We need a private pool but I don't want to do a villa as I cherish not worrying about cooking for once!

Jesus christ - i just priced up the Ikos private bungalows with private pool and all inclusive - for 5 of us and its coming out at £55k for a week next august!!!!!! are people honestly paying this much for a weeks holiday?? I am assuming that is without flights too.
I took it done to 4 people and its still coming out at £22-35k!!! We could go travelling around the world for months for £55k and see a load of amazing stuff - not stuck in one place for a week.

Which hotel?

Ive just done a quick search and bungalows for 2 adults and 3 kids with a private pool are between €20 and 25k for a week in august

So around £3.5k per person which isn’t outrageous for 5* all inclusive

For nd kids look at locations which aren't as popular with families eg I look mine on a road trip through central Spain staying in hotels with pools but usually we were the only family there!

It’s Greece so a bit further but the Tui Blue in Elounda has private pools for some rooms. Transfer is a bit shit so worth taking a taxi or private minibus.

Or actually scratch that. I missed the subsequent post about the kids being ND. A Tui blue would probably be a waste of time and money for them.

Just a mention, if people book a villa and don't want to eat out or cook, the Spanish supermarket Mercadona are rolling out hot food counters across their stores at extremely low prices. On nights you don't want to go out pick up some dishes, a box of mixed salad and some dressing, something nice to drink and have a cosy evening round the pool. (I can highly recommend their Baco Reserva brandy at an easy to swallow €5,90 a bottle). Pleasant, relaxing and extremely easy on the budget. 😊

PS the Mercadona food is very good, my husband recommends the paella, and as a Coeliac I can recommend the scrumptious roast potatoes. All ingredients are listed, and they are very good throughout the store at labelling items which are gluten free. ( Try the rosemary crackers "sin gluten").

Lyttos Beach in Crete, so a bit further than Spain. It's quite pricey but if you could manage to go early June or Sept the weather should be good and prices are lower.

Probably cheaper to rent a villa w pool and eat out
