All of the above and the ‘everything’ that a pp said 😄

However, after reading all the comments, I am now feeling reassured and like I’m not weird or alone in my fears 😂

MysteryBelle · 23/07/2023 07:03

I’ve sprained my ankle 3 times! I never want that to happen again!

EnergyJaguar · 23/07/2023 07:04

People - ‘friends’ setting boundaries

Another one terrified of slipping and falling. I loathe icy and slippery steps and pavements. I live in the hills, so winter can be hideous.

People’s intentions.
Friends and how friendly they really are.
The capacity for jealousy.

This ☝️ with bells on

borntobequiet · 23/07/2023 07:08

Exercise. I still go to the gym two or three times a week but I stick to a safe routine and don’t overdo it as strains and sprains take longer to heal.

Jongleterre · 23/07/2023 07:09

Jumping and climbing.

Diddykong · 23/07/2023 07:11

Rolling news or any news. Just makes me so anxious

MysteryBelle · 23/07/2023 07:12

Walking around the house barefoot. One time I came upon a snake coiled on the floor of my dining room 😱

NobodysNose · 23/07/2023 07:19

Driving. I am now regularly under the speed limit (not right on it) and thinking to myself 'I'll just take my time, doesn't matter if it takes me longer'.

Fair rides. Loved them when I was young. Now wouldn't trust them at all.

Riapia · 23/07/2023 07:23

Farting.
Things are not as secure down there as they used to be.
😉😁😁😁

BubblinTrouble · 23/07/2023 07:28

Food

Justleaveitblankthen · 23/07/2023 07:29

Definitely driving in the dark, especially in bad weather. Had to do this last night in the pouring rain and it was a shock, couldn't see the lane lines at all! 😔

LobsterCrab · 23/07/2023 07:54

Rollercoasters and skiing. I still do both, but not with the same carefree approach that I used to.

MintJulia · 23/07/2023 07:57

Riding horses & motorbikes
Drinking alcohol
Sunburn
Diet (being healthy, not calorie counting)
Trusting men

And since Covid, travelling, although I'm doing my best to reverse that 😊

Zipps · 23/07/2023 08:06

Riding my motorcycle on the motorway. Too many idiot drivers especially those using their phone. On normal roads people are constantly drifting over to the wrong side of the road, again I suspect phone use.
Friendly seeming fake people.
Holiday accomodation description/photos - we're going on cruises and five star hotels with great reviews especially about food and cleanliness as much as possible.

Purplecatshopaholic · 23/07/2023 08:08

My health! Menopause is an absolute bitch. And I worry now about things like slipping on ice etc, in case I actually hurt myself (when younger I rode horses, motorbikes, etc and never gave a shit, lol).

Ladyofthelake53 · 23/07/2023 08:08

Driving to places i dont know, out of my comfort zone.
Fairground rides, used to love them
Going on planes/flying
Trains/anything where i might miss the time. I have to allow ridiculous amount of time in case im late.

Was never like it when younger, much more spontaneous and risky

Omg please tell me you live in Australia, not the U.K.

Yirk · 23/07/2023 08:18

Words,, what people actually mean!
Crossing the roads...eyesight poor
My health

Heurgh · 23/07/2023 08:25

Diet Coke/aspartame - not so much for the tiny cancer risk as the havoc it wreaks on gut bacteria. I think I might have given it up.

ILookAtTheFloor · 23/07/2023 08:26

Anything the BBC says.

MaidOfSteel · 23/07/2023 08:33

I've had several falls so I have become very cautious when walking, and I avoid stairs as much as I can.

crew2022 · 23/07/2023 08:39

Flying
Falling / slipping
Cramming in too much to a weekend - I need more downtime

I'm not that old, early fifties, but I've really changed recently

ThatshallotBaby · 23/07/2023 08:45

My time. I don’t force myself to do things because I think I should. I’m quite happy by myself, and I worry that maybe I’m too happy by myself!

Also night driving. I will do it, but I’m not keen. I’m 55.
