What is your favourite episode of Bluey?

Inspired by a conversation I had with six adults while out for dinner last week!

My husband usually calls Mumsnet Moansnet and won’t hear of anything discussed here… this thread has changed him. He’s invested.

It's obstacle course for me, where Bandit grabs Bluey at the finish line as she is about to win....reminds me of my husband 😂

I love Baby Race, Quiet Game, Bin Night and Hammerbarn!

But also the one where Muffin skips a nap and the bedtime one... too many! 😂

Chinese takeaway - because I grew up in Australia and its extraordinarily accurate

Cricket - because it's a great story

Bin night - for the way they show time passing. The moon waxing and waning, the different bins each week, Bluey getting better on her recorder, the way Bingo's preschool dramas evolve - so cleverly done

So so so many. I watched rain for the first time, in the background one day on holidays whilst I was unwell and had a mountain of stuff to do, unpacking and washing and just loads. And I burst out crying and started hugging the kids. They thought I'd gone mad. I love flatpack, calypso, pass the parcel, fairytale,

Baby Race hands down... I had a delayed child (just diagnosed ASD recently) and I just SOB every time the bloody episode comes on - I remember the depressing moments when all my friends kids started to do things mine didn't. "The doctor said it was nothing to worry about..."

Honestly, I bawl my eyes out each time.

On a less emotional note I like The Pool one where Chili brings all the things they've forgotten and saves the day, and it's SO bloody true!

Unicorse. He is chaos personified. He makes me laugh every time. He also reminded me to call my kids 'Toots'.

Also quite fond of The Claw, as you may guess from my current username.

I love them all!! I’d happily watch even if DS isn’t around. When he grows out of it you’d better believe I’ll still be watching! And I’ve never felt that way about any kids tv shows. My favourites are rain, fairytale, and hammerbarn. And unicorse (what’s your favourite food? Children 😂)

No it's only just come out in Australia. You can't watch it online if you search for it or on TikTok. It's a true work of art in the form of a cartoon show about dogs!

Baby Race & Sleepy Time for obvious reasons. Love the one where Bluey makes a film for Bingo while she's in hospital, and the one where Jack joins the school.

Faceytalk and the granny mobile one are both hilarious. In fact, basically anything with Muffin in it

Camping, Chinese takeaway and baby race. Kids love and so do I!

I read today that Bluey is the most watched tv show in Australia EVER!!!

Oh I'm excited for Cricket! Not seen it yet.
My fave is camping I think but I love them more than the kids do. I really like the fact that Bluey and Bingo are the same age as my DDs so it's all so relatable.

I wonder if they'll age as the show goes on? It would be lovely to watch them grow up alongside our own children.

It’s got to be Baby Race and the one in the park where they’re watching all the kids try to succeed at different things.

My kids love anything with the grannies, especially the bus episode.

The one where bluesy mum talking about being a new mum. It's so lovely.

This is the one cartoon that I actually encourage my kids to watch because I like it haha! Fruit bat makes my cry it's lovely, dance mode my kids always try n get me to do this!! Also the one where muffin stats over and she's loopy because she's dropped her nap.

Honestly you won't be disappointed it's so well done. 🥰

I love that DS loves them as much as me at the moment but I suspect it's one of those things he will eventually move on from (not for many many years yet hopefully) and when he does I suspect any time I see anything bluey related when he's all big and grown up I may have a quiet sob.
