Agree with Malaga!

Snap! Assumed it would be like Benidorm, but it's a really lovely old town with Roman history.

Food wise, smoked mackerel for me. I don't like much fish and cannot stand smoked salmon, but went somewhere that had a fixed menu and the starter was a trio of smoked fish - salmon (bleuch!), trout (which I knew I'd probably like and I did) and mackerel, which I very reluctantly tried. My goodness it was lovely!

Incidentally, I've never been to Benidorm either, so I could be surprised by that too!

Just feel like Benidorm and Malaga would be too "Brits abroad"!

I don't know how anyone couldn't know that about anal sex. You'd have to be very naive to think you could do that regularly and it not cause any long-term problems.

Most people don't know, I guess most are naive.

Harry Potter.

I resisted reading them for years because I hate hype and was rebelling against all the people telling me "You'd love it - it's right up your street - you really MUST read it..." They annoyed me so much I just dug my heels in and refused.

DH didn't realise I was actively refusing to read them and assumed I just hadn't got around to it, too busy, too many books on the shelf waiting to be read etc, and he bought me the first 3 for Christmas. Didn't want to snub his thoughtful gift so I grudgingly read the first one...

And the rest is history. A total Potterhead was born.

I used to be like this, resisting popular stuff.. until I'd waited years to watch LOTR, harry potter, breaking bad, game of thrones.. and they were all amazing.
So now I follow the hype. If there's hype on a mass scale and doesn't quieten down it usually means it's good.
