So agree with ballet! I am learning to appreciate it in my 50s. It's fantastic.

Hmm. I think your idea of “hilarious” and mine might be very different.

I daresay. No accounting for taste.

On a non food note... anal! I used to be all "It's all for the mans pleasure, they must get off on causing women pain" etc until I tried it and loved it.. defo all pleasure for me. I sometimes prefer it over vaginal sex.

Just be a bit careful as overuse can damage the spinster and you struggle to close properly (incontinence in early age). I only know this from my nhs health care role in surgery dealing with far too much of it. Scary how it's not publicly 'known'.

LOL.

Spinsters tend not to engage with anal. Sphincters might feature though.

@Sometimesgood My brother is gay so I learnt about that from his friends talking etc, saying when they get older they sometimes have issues. I only have it a few times a year tops and not with a big one 🤣 You're right it should be more well known. I guess they don't want to write that on a poster in the doctors waiting room even in this era of openness!

Also Pilates.

Cruise holidays and camping ( booked two more cruises after the one I was dragged on and became obsessed with camping after one weekend in a borrowed tent)

On the other hand I knew I'd hate all all inclusive holidays and I was right.

I don't know how anyone couldn't know that about anal sex. You'd have to be very naive to think you could do that regularly and it not cause any long-term problems.

HearMeSnore · 06/07/2023 11:40

Harry Potter.

I resisted reading them for years because I hate hype and was rebelling against all the people telling me "You'd love it - it's right up your street - you really MUST read it..." They annoyed me so much I just dug my heels in and refused.

DH didn't realise I was actively refusing to read them and assumed I just hadn't got around to it, too busy, too many books on the shelf waiting to be read etc, and he bought me the first 3 for Christmas. Didn't want to snub his thoughtful gift so I grudgingly read the first one...

And the rest is history. A total Potterhead was born.

Me too!! I loved it!

Not even medics realise always. The worst case was a young female colleague who was a medic and preferred anal to vaginal, and as a result suffered severe incontinence before she even had her first pregnancy.
