Anyone else in Scotland? WTF is this weather!

This is just terrible. Poor kids have been cooped up inside for a week.

Schools only broke up here yesterday. Weather set to be crap for at least the next week though.

Takes the pressure off getting out and about - permission to be lazy and just potter.

Ours broke up last week so we were lucky and had a fair bit of sunshine and hot weather this past week for them. But it's been teeming with rain today, then randomly get really warm and sunny, followed by more sideways rain and one heck of a wind.
DH took DD swimming this morning while me and DS had a lazy day watching a film in our pyjamas. DH has been out to get the shopping now and took the car cos the rain's been so unpredictable, usually he'd walk to Sainsbury's and back but taking no chances today.
Unpopular opinion as this may be- I'm kind of relieved to see rain after so many weeks of very hot temps and sunshine. The heatwave's been nice but we need rain too.

We need the rain for our fields so happy about the weather.

Yes it's been minging but come on, there's been absolutely no need to pop the heating on!

North Lanarkshire here as well. It's just so dark too when the rain comes in. I had to work with a lamp on this week and I've just made a hot water bottle!

I’m South Lan and it’s the same here. Weather doesn’t know what it wants to do. Have a tonne of washing to do and can’t get it dried properly because of the rain.

Yes! Glad we have another week in school for ours here in Aberdeenshire. Blowing a gale and I lit the fire!

I completely take this back. Sitting here under blankets on the sofa tonight and if the red wine wasn't also warming us up I reckon we'd be activating the boiler!
