This is just terrible. Poor kids have been cooped up inside for a week.

Yes its shite. Always the same when the schools break up.

Mochudubh · 01/07/2023 12:44

Thunder and pishin doon now.

Lessstressedhemum · 01/07/2023 12:48

Teeming in North Ayrshire. It's so predictable. As soon as the schools go on holiday the good weather vanishes. It'd scunner you.

ssd · 01/07/2023 12:56

And we all know come middle of August the sun will be splitting the skies

RoonilWazlib21 · 01/07/2023 13:14

It's our gala week and it's Braw Lads Day today so it's probably our fault. Sorry folks! Very windy but sunny here.

Lyricallie · 01/07/2023 13:24

Freezing up in the highlands. Apparently real feel tonight is going to 2C. I had to get my winter slippers back out. Even my dog didn’t want to go out in it.

Shopper727 · 01/07/2023 13:26

Sunny in Stirling, mine were at school all week but it’s typical we get nice weather when kids are at school now it’s the holidays it’s mixed. Weather app just told me it’s going to rain soon
deep joy

kelsaycobbles · 01/07/2023 13:30

The wind !

aintnospringchicken · 01/07/2023 13:32

I'm in Edinburgh too.Rained most of yesterday and today it's blowing a hoolie.Got soaked in a heavy rain shower as I was putting my shopping bags in the boot of the car.House is warm enough though( no heating on).Sitting here in shorts and t shirt.

MichaelAndEagle · 01/07/2023 13:32

I've come up for the weekend from Newcastle and had to change out of sandals and put a jumper on on the train!
I knew it was forecast for rain but it is chilly too.

BonnieGlasses · 01/07/2023 13:32

I'm in Edinburgh, I was out earlier and got absolutely drenched. 15 minutes earlier I'd had bare arms and sunglasses on! It's crazy.

Lessstressedhemum · 01/07/2023 14:45

It's blowing a hoolie here, too. It's 14 degrees, real feel 11 and, according to the Met office and the big grey clouds, bits just about to start lashing again. It really would sicken your mince. I am up to my ears in washing with no way of getting it dry😡

RoseDog · 01/07/2023 14:48

Warm, sunny and windy in Dundee, the washing is blowing round on the whirly!

Diorinthecountryy · 01/07/2023 15:21

When we got up this morning my poor dog was shivering. It's grey, bucketing it down and really windy. Going to put my log burner on tonight. I am in the Highlands.

I hope we haven't had our summer weather already 😩

TheShellBeach · 01/07/2023 15:24

Rain, rain, rain.
Argyll............ it's always raining.
Grin

Tighginn · 01/07/2023 15:35

The rain I can live with, but this wind...

MaidOfSteel · 01/07/2023 15:40

Blowing a gale and pouring down in Lanarkshire. The cows in the field behind our house are trying to hide from it!
Come back that lovely and warm, dry sunny weather we had until recently. Please!

misssees · 01/07/2023 16:21

Well mother of the year here- dragged the kids out to McDonalds for some 'fresh air' Confused

I'd be happy if it was just dry! I can do dry no problem.

Seryse · 01/07/2023 16:22

Edinburgh here too, it's minging. It's been off and on rain and drizzle all day, but I keep getting hit with surges of humidity- which is great fun with a 15 month old and a 4 week old 😅

iatealltheminieggs · 01/07/2023 16:31

West Lothian - rain, wind, sun, wind, sideways rain, wind sun...

My DC had 'McDonalds fresh air' on Thursday so I can't use that for a while.

TheSproutOfWrath · 01/07/2023 16:34

South Ayrshire here. Lit the fire last night to take the chill off ⛈️

misssees · 01/07/2023 16:35

Just looked at the forecast and it's really getting no better. Bloody hell.

A week? Were NE Scotland and gave had hot sunny days every day bar 1

Horrible weather most of the last week and utterly torrential at times. Luckily kids only finished up yesterday so off to find sunnier weather today ✈️ ☀️

AnotherDayAnotherUsernameForMeAgain · 01/07/2023 16:39

Sorry South Ayrshire here too.

Foxesandsquirrels · 01/07/2023 16:45

I'm not there now but DD went on a DofE type walking holiday to the Highlands in May half term. They had 22C and blazing sun nearly every day. The locals were all worried about water. Hopefully you all get some sun, but I bet the water management companies are a little relieved.
