I’m not a particular fan of Edam when you buy it as part of a whole cheese but oh my goodness, the Tescos slices are in a whole new league! Can’t stop eating them & have bought loads over the last few weeks.

McDonald's chocolate pie - it's like molten brownie!
Thick white buttered toast with honey
Big Fat Strawberries - they taste so good this year!

FFS. I am starting a diet tomorrow and should not have opened this thread! Mine is Halo Top ice cream. It's a low calorie product so should not be an issue except I can't not eat it if I have it in the house, so a portion size is minimum one whole tub. On a separate note, I also love that fiery beetroot - why is it so good?!

@Howtosolveit

Who in their right mind starts a diet at the weekend.

Get a grip. 😂

Pie d'Angloys with JS ciabatta olive bread.👊

The cheese is not even faintly complex, it makes cheddar look complex, neither is the bread, but together OH MY GOD.

In a bid to crack this habit on the head, I sliced the olive bread up slice by slice before I stuck it in the freezer for toasting (one by one ....allegedly) as opposed to baking the whole thing.

Didn't work.

Just for balance today I walked past the cheese (had to talk to myself) and walked past the bread, and headed to the wine.

Interestingly I had two glasses of wine, but I would have woofed the whole cheese and the bread.

So yes addiction.

My food addictions are throwbacks to the 1980s.

Currently loving Refreshers and love heart sweets.

Also enjoy a cheddar, ham and mayo sandwich with crunchy disco crisps. Beats lettuce any day of the week.

Lidls low GI bread. IDK what they put in it but I think its crack.

The one from the fresh bakery section?
I love that bread! Haven’t had any for a while, I wonder what makes it so good…

Salt and vinegar Pringles! Can't stop eating them!

Same !!

Slightly off topic but my daughter is obsessed with strawberry sorbet, it's surprisingly hard to get hold of! Does anyone know where you can buy a tub?

MattDamon · 01/07/2023 08:20

Crosta & Mollica frozen pizzas. We've given up takeaways as we'd rather use the money for other things. OH has been mopey about it but they really scratch that Friday night takeaway itch.

Desperate option: I know sometimes you simply want to buy the thing, but I've seen people on SM freezing strawberries then grating them. Aldi sells a kilo punnet of strawberries at the moment. I usually just blend and strain the fruit (before freezing & scraping), however.

I've got a feeling Marksies sells sorbet but I'm not sure if they do strawberry. Might be worth a try though

I've just had a quick web search (lazing about in bed still! ) and Tesco sells lemon, mango or raspberry sorbet. Not what you asked for but raspberry is still a berry, right?😁

readingismycardio · 01/07/2023 10:17

Zucchini fritters & cherry clafoutis - DH keeps asking for these 🤣

RabbitsRock · 04/07/2023 09:16

Another vote for hash browns - I could eat most of a bag in one sitting!
