I’m not a particular fan of Edam when you buy it as part of a whole cheese but oh my goodness, the Tescos slices are in a whole new league! Can’t stop eating them & have bought loads over the last few weeks.

OP posts:

Biscoff ice cream sticks. Luckily they're about 7 million pounds and my stinginess usually wins over my greed.

Whipped feta dip.
Sainsbury's and Waitrose both do one.
Calorific crack.

The M&S pita chips are amazing with that

GoldSilverBronzeTan · 30/06/2023 16:08

Peach sorbet. I’ve got a ninja creami and it takes a 34p tin of peaches into the most delicious sorbet I’ve ever had.

Snowpaw · 30/06/2023 16:36

Franks Red Hot sauce on scrambled eggs every morning

Garlic mushrooms on buttered white toast.

Frozen grapes (better than many ice-creams IMO). These have replaced frozen blueberries addiction wise (I'm sure the latter are healthier but I was eating so many they were starting to dye my teeth 😅)

Watermelon

@Whichwhatnow I'm intrigued, that sounds delicious. Do you just put grapes/blueberries in the freezer, and if yes how do you keep them from sticking together?

itsmellslikepopcarn · 30/06/2023 17:23

Sour cream and chive lentil crisps. I’ve had to stop buying them cause I sit and eat big bags in one go.

UncomfortableSofa · 30/06/2023 17:40

Those rings of pineapple and almond soft cheese. So rubbish bit so good.

WhatADrabCarpet · 30/06/2023 17:44

Chargrilled artichokes in olive oil.

God yes Frank's Hot Sauce is amazing, I could genuinely just sip it and be happy!

lissie123 · 30/06/2023 17:51

notprincehamlet · 30/06/2023 18:17

Beetroot and balsamic rice cake things - like virtuous monster munch

theWarOnPeace · 30/06/2023 18:25

Finocchiona (fennel salami) and gran padano from the local Italian deli. I most days WFH so about once an hour the last few days, I’ve pinched a slice of the beautiful herby salami and wrapped it round a crumbled off chunk of the cheese. It’s a rare treat and I’m obsessed. Only a few slices left 😭

ButteryNut · 30/06/2023 18:25

Trez1510 · 30/06/2023 09:16

Tesco's Finest Sweet & Fiery Beetroot is currently floating my boat. Having it with almost everything at the moment!

God I love that beetroot!

Alloveragain3 · 30/06/2023 18:29

Cheddar cheese on digestives

Chocolate covered pretzels

Biscoff ice cream sticks. Luckily they're about 7 million pounds and my stinginess usually wins over my greed.

This is my current addiction.

Half price in both Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

My waistline really needs them to go back to full price!!

Hawkins0001 · 30/06/2023 18:32

I agree with the cheese slices mainly because when I use the larger blocks it's easier to cut the slices when it's already sliced to Max the cheese.

Some times its mc Donald's or yellow label sections in the supermarket

QueefofSheena · 30/06/2023 18:33

Wensleydale with cranberries

Gloriousgardener11 · 30/06/2023 18:39

Deadinsidebutcaffeinated · 30/06/2023 12:03

Chocolate covered rich tea biscuits. They are a current blight on my diet

Where do you get these ?

AtleastitsnotMonday · 30/06/2023 21:16

Sainsbury's prawn cocktail lentil tube crisp things.

Black garlic vinegar, ridiculously expensive and fortunately I bought it at a country show type thing, so repurchasing will be bank balance saving inconvenient.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 30/06/2023 21:33

Smoked cheese and crackers. I think I’m on week 8 of this particular addiction.

QuizzlyBears · 30/06/2023 21:37

Hot honey, particularly drizzled on pizza or on feta and baked. SO good.

Before I left the UK it was Quorn Cocktail Sausages. I could wolf a whole packet down in one afternoon.

I miss them more than I miss my family.

I had this for a good 6 weeks' buying it weekly, and sometimes if they were on offer, I'd get two packs. I've stopped it now.

I'm very keen on Asda's seaweed salad that's in the sushi bar, but it's very expensive for about £3 for a poxy 200g. I can eat it every day, but I don't as firstly it's too expensive, and secondly Asda is much further out to get to.

I discovered in London's Chinatown a couple months' back in one of the Chinese supermarkets, I bought the raw version frozen for 1kg at £8. It's still in the freezer, and I still haven't got round to portioning it up and making it into a nice tasty salad.

Nachtvlinder · 30/06/2023 21:46

Also, now and again, I would treat myself to the cooked chicken legs from M&S. I can eat the two legs in one go! I don't know why it's so good as I can't roast chicken like that tasting so nice.
