Lol that’s not the grave in the front garden! 😂😂

What's that concrete box thing in the front then?

What's that concrete box thing in the front then?

Its difficult to make out but it could be one of those long squareish storage boxes some folk have... not sure.

Pudmyboy · 29/06/2023 19:17

I thought it was an abandoned fridge freezer!

nancy2022 · 29/06/2023 19:17

megletthesecond · 29/06/2023 18:04

It did sell in April 2021 for £90k.

I don't think it did.

In the above ground tomb, front garden.

That's a fridge?

I thought it was an abandoned fridge freezer!

Could be that.

ErikaReadsTheDailyMail · 29/06/2023 19:27

It should be really woo but actually it's quite sweet.
No chance in hell I'd buy it though!

ComeTheFckOnBridget · 29/06/2023 19:27

I can look past the tomb/fridge/storage box in the front garden, the disrepair, stained carpets and the bin bags on the sofa....What bothers me is the fact that the loo seat has been left up!

SoupDragon · 29/06/2023 19:27

I'm relieved to find out that it's the house I've seen before rather than another one!

Auvergne63 · 29/06/2023 19:31

Same here!

TheFormidableMrsC · 29/06/2023 19:31

I know somebody who did this but they had a huge garden with a small copse and it was really distant from the house and very tastefully done. I'm not sure about a burial in a terrace in Leeds and I'm surprised they got permission to do this. It would put me off.

It could well be the grave. It wasn't there in 2019 😆

BamBamBambi · 29/06/2023 19:34

I wouldn’t buy it but if I did I’d just get it dug up and removed I’d I could.

Looks like mouldy fridge freezer 🤣

TimeToMoveIt · 29/06/2023 19:37

Well if its that thing in the front garden it's a weird place to put someone

If its the dug up bit in the back garden it's also odd, you'd put him at the bottom of the garden at least!

LMNT · 29/06/2023 19:41

Wouldn’t bother me a bit.

I bet there’s loads of bodies buried, throughout history, in places no longer marked as grave sites.

showmethedata · 29/06/2023 19:45

There are several dead bodies in my garden. Two cats and two dogs at least. A properly buried human body wouldn't bother me at all. I'd be more concerned that the garden appears to be rented.

StaySpicy · 29/06/2023 19:46

Street view suggests something like a fish tank half-filled with stagnant water...

StaySpicy · 29/06/2023 19:47

Oops - photos!

We dug up a body in my friend's garden just today. It was a buried IKEA plastic box filled with mycelium. The previous owners of the house should have used a cardboard box or just wrapped it in a towel. We're assuming it was a cat or small dog. Don't know whether to empty the box out into a new hole or what.

Trinity65 · 29/06/2023 19:13

Wouldn't bother Me and I wouldn't dream of digging him and his coffin up.

It also wouldn't bother Me to live in a house where somebody was murdered or committed suicide.. I would just feel sorry for them somewhat and move on.

I no problem living in a murder house or such. Just I like to build and dig and grow food. Now I know blood and bone is good but human corpse cucumbers don’t do it for me 😂

Blanketenvy · 29/06/2023 20:19

It wouldn't bother me but then I'm a pretty desperate first time buyer Grin Genuinely wouldn't mind that much and I guess would plant round it etc but yeah it's not a great house in a not great area so there are downsides!

veryfluffyfluff · 29/06/2023 20:25

You think they'd get rid of the rubbish and random slipper.

Are you allowed to bury people in gardens

Agreed, why stick him in the middle of the back garden for someone children to play with their toy rakes on! Terrible placement, surely a corner at the back would have been better.

mindutopia · 29/06/2023 20:57

We looked at a house that not only had a dead relative in the garden (it was something bizarre like the wife’s sister’s 2nd cousin’s 20 year old daughter, so sounded potentially quite tragic, but also very strange as very distant connection to the property).

It also came with, best I can describe it, a tenant living in a garden shed (literally an actual shed) who came with the property (you had to agree not to kick him out for the to accept your offer), who was potentially trafficked, may have once been the ‘servant’ and didn’t drive so you had to do his shopping and errands for him. 🤔Dh and I decided to give it a big ole swerve. But I do often think of him and hope he’s alright with his ‘new family’ and wonder if I should have reported it to social services. It was all very strange.
