Did they tell you the baby's weight in kg or in lbs and oz?

Pounds. Eldest is 12

Kg. This was in 2022.

Pounds and Ounces in 2005 &2007, I have photos of them on the scales with the imperial reading.

I can only visualise weight accurately in lbs & oz and height in feet & length. I was born in the 70s so it was my parents generation that did the official switch from imperial to metric.

But, as OP mentioned I do happily cook/bake in metric.

Every time we weigh a baby at work in kilos, the parents will ask for it in
'Real money'

Both. Only remember the pounds and ounces, can't work in kilos.

Weirdly, I always measured my baby formula in oz but measure liquid for cooking in g.

Equally weirdly, I prefer to cook in oz and g, can't stand measuring exactly 225g when I could do 8oz. But my own baby's bottles are always ml!

Oz not g that should say
