Tell me what you're supposed to be doing vs what you're actually doing

I'm supposed to be: gardening. There's wigwams to make, about a hundred bloody borage seedlings to pull up, a patio to be weeded, and the strawberries need mulching.

I'm actually: sitting in the sun eating an ice cream. And I don't plan on moving when I've finished it, either.

Supposed to be sorting the stuff that’s built up on the kitchen table. I’m making a dress instead

Working… at the bank with son to get him an account, then taking him to GP.

Should be: starting dinner and taking the washing out of the machine

Actually doing: sat under a blanket with the 2 youngest DC watching power rangers and eating ice creams

Love how many people are procrastinating via ice cream.

Load of washing but drinking coffee in a bar

I have spent all day working in the garden when I probably should have been applying for jobs. Now I am browsing Mumsnet and popping bubble wrap instead of making dinner.

Supposed to be: marking exam papers

Actually: mumsnetting and trying to decide between bbq beef or plain hula hoops. (Your sanity needs lots of snacks when you're marking papers!!)

Tidying up the living room. The dog has gone to town on some tissue paper she pulled out of a recycling bag. So currently it's like a ticker-tape parade in there.... 🙄

Instead have been stood in the kitchen looking at craft projects on Pinterest...

I'm supposed to be folding up all the washing I've done today and then cooking dinner. Instead I'm lounging on the sofa feeling the breeze on my feet from the open back door.

Ugh I have this backwards today! Finished work at 10, thought, I’ll just stick some washing on, then laze with ancient dog and a book my friend lent me.
I did a fair bit of housework, finally sat down with poor dog and thought, why don’t I brush him, do his teeth, wipe out his ears, and maybe cut his claws while he’s dozing… than I cleaned blood off both of us, floors, patio, various bits of furniture and put his bed and blankets in to wash. Joined him outside, and started gardening. Then the washing machine showed error #3, I pulled out the filter to clear it and flooded the kitchen. More housework followed. Now it’s time to cook, and I feel I deserve a break!

Supposed to be: tidying up mess I’ve made all over the house and unpacking suitcase from half term holiday.

Actually: on mumsnet, watching last nights Love Island and eating salted pretzel chocolate after a quick BBQ for dinner.

Wondering which is the easiest way to die instead of doing pointless housework.
