How do you say your DOB?

I find myself saying 'the twentieth of the eighth, eighty two' as I think it would be confusing to say 'twenty eight, eighty two'.

Am I weird?

I say twenty, oh eight, eighty two or twentieth August eighty two.

I say twentieth of July eighty three or twentieth of the seventh eighty three.

I'm 40 soon.

This has never even occured to me as a problem.

I rattle off 20 6 82 and no one has ever misunderstood. Ever. Because otherwise, where is the month?

Unless I'm speaking American. Then it's 6 20 82.
