What would you make the most of, if you could rewind to 6-12 months before starting a family?

Just that really, we’re in that position now and would love to know what you would do a bit more of/make the most of pre kids if you had a rewind button or if that’s your situation now.

Holidays

Drinking and not worrying about looking after children with a hangover

The amazingly naive and innocent belief that we would get pregnant easily (we did have multiple children but took 10 rounds of IVF, several miscarriages, a lot of money and a lot of heartache... totally worth it, but I'm a different person now. Probably would be anyway but still, it was HARD)

Holidays.
Meals out.
Days out as a couple.

I'd just stare at my flat, toned stomach in the mirror 😂

Have a full understanding and agreement as to how household finances will work - including anticipated return to work, childcare and continued pension contributions

Ensure your partner is someone you want to be tied to for a loooooong time and who will relish stepping up to the fatherhood plate

Get fit and increase your tolerance levels....

Holidays in exotic locations.

Long weekend lie-ins and breakfast or even just a cuppa in bed.

Going out with friends or going to the gym after work.

Spontaneous sex.
