Anyone experienced in dating furniture?

Wondered if anyone could help. My husband is about to skip this set of drawers, but i thought i'd check first if anyone knew anything about them? I doubt they're worth anything but any information on the period would be interesting.

I gave a small, very old bookcase to Age UK and they sold it for £170 plus our gift aid.

By upcycling I meant stripping and waxing😊

Agree wood is solid oak.

Polishing knobs is a bit far for a first date. Call me old fashioned.
