What was in your bed when you woke up this morning?

When I went to bed last nights there was just myself and my duvet and pillows.
When I woke up there was also a 6 year old, a 2 year old, a toy dinosaur and an ear thermometer 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did anything exciting find its way into your bed in the night?

Mumsnut · 08/05/2023 12:02

Sometimes (not today) there is a cat. We don’t own a cat

TheCreamTeaWasFromMe · 08/05/2023 12:05

First time I woke up - DH and one of the dogs.

Second time I woke up - a dog on the pillow next to me, another dog laying on my feet, and the third dog standing by the bed resting her face on my pillow (her way of saying it's time to get up as she wants to go out).

A dressmaking pin -again!
Freshly changed sheets so only appeared this morning, on my husbands side of the bed just laying on the sheet under the duvet where his torso would’ve been (he didn’t feel it in the night). We both noticed when we got up together and it has freaked us out as this is the second time it’s happened. Identical circumstances and an identical pin! It’s one of those ones with a plastic bobble on the head and looks well worn. DH can’t remember what he did with the first pin so it could be the exact same one. Last time was about 2 or 3 weeks ago 😳👻

3 year old in next to me, 6 year old sprawled horizontally across the foot of the bed, 8 year old sat up against the wall where the bed is pushed against it reading a book with the cat in her lap.
Quite literally a full house 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

hiredandsqueak · 08/05/2023 12:20

Just me, no other human or animal is allowed in my bedroom never mind my bed. My dc are well pat the age where they might have tried sneaking in and the dog sleeps downstairs as her snoring is enough to wake the dead.

KnittedCardi · 08/05/2023 12:21

Just me - bliss 😉

Mariposista · 08/05/2023 12:34

a labrador, sitting bolt upright, wagging his tail for breakfast.

this is the best response so far

WhatWeDoInTheShadow · 08/05/2023 12:36

Nope! Just me. DH is away and much as I love him, I have been loving having the bed to myself too!

Dcs woke up after me too. So all rather peaceful (this is rare so I'm allowed to enjoy this 😂)

Sparklfairy · 08/05/2023 12:40

The cat. She doesn't sleep in my bed but opened my door this morning and came in, pawing my face and stomping on my boobs as painfully as possible so I'd get up and feed her. Then she buggered off for a lovely sleep once her belly was full Confused

CLEO42 · 08/05/2023 12:42

I went to bed with my husband and woke up with my 10 year old. It's like magic

SirenSays · 08/05/2023 12:44

3 dogs, two pairs of headphones and a book.

BlueKaftan · 08/05/2023 12:45

My cat having a wash whilst perched on my hip. She eventually fell off and snuggled up to me.

MyFaceIsAnAONB · 08/05/2023 12:45

Just me, but before we went to bed last night we had to remove a resistance band, a shoebox-sized wooden box of felt pens, and an old blister plaster 🙃

Oakbeam · 08/05/2023 12:45

Just me.

MakesMeFeelSad · 08/05/2023 12:46

Lochjeda · 08/05/2023 12:46

Just me.

Also just me, but I was expecting at the very least a husband too - turns out he fell asleep on the sofa last night (predictable) and instead of disturbing me when he came up, he slept in DSS' (currently unoccupied) bedroom instead.

My very fit husband, his six pack and an empty bottle of wine we brought up last night 😂

Yuk! I can’t stand superficial men like that

A furry wee shite with pointy things on every corner and the huge rumbling purr of IGNORE THE POINTY THINGS IN YOUR ARM AND STAY ASLEEP I'M NOT READY TO GET UP AND FOLLOW YOU TO THE BATHROOM YET.

Oh, and a earphone under my neck.

Would have preferred it to be DP, but he was up making coffee.

I couldn't understand any of this?!
