A few nights ago I was lay and could hear ticking, I put sleep music on to drown it out.

Just sat on the bed to chill a minute and can hear it again.

I don't own a clock or a watch.

I can't find where its coming from. It's driving me mad!

DS has a watch but it's in his room!

As a child, my family had this problem in one of the bedrooms . Three of us slept in the room for years and before that, it was my brother's room. All of us heard this regularly coming from different parts of the walls. It sounded like a wristwatch and it could go on all day and night and then disappear for a while but always came back. There was no clock or watch etc in the room and we never did find out what the noise was. We just accepted it but I get reminded of it now and again and wonder what caused it.
