Sheets - What colours(s) are yours?

Everyone here fir as long as I can remember have white bed linen. It’s easy to keep clean and always looks and feels fresh to me. However, I am debating whether I should buy some lovely gingham sheets I have seen. I need a second set hence why I need some soon.

White sheets with various blue duvet covers and pillow cases. I wouldn't want white covers, it would feel sterile and hotel-like which is not the vibe I want for my bedroom.

My new sheets arrived today, I ordered what I thought was light blue/white (pic shows a very pale blue) the ones that have turned up are in my eyes an ugly medium blue. Not my idea of cottage at all.

How disappointing and the gamble with online shopping!
