Mundane words you hate the sound of....

Is there a word you hate? When you say it, it just grates on you just irritates you?

For me, its the word "bottle".

I hate what it looks like, I hate saying the word, to me it just sounds like a silly word and irritates me when I have to use it.

Probably makes no sense, but please tell me I'm not alone with an irrational hatred of a mundane word.

I like....get so like.... irritated when so many people keep like.... saying like...a hundred times in like...every conversation!!

Awesome - I hate that word so much!

And bluffing- hate it!

And when someone describes there skin as ‘raw’ as in ‘my sunburn was red raw’ etc.

‘Perfect’ when said patronisingly by some sales person I have tights older than, sixteen times in one transaction.

If like was taken out of the English language some people would be unable to speak. Just saying like 😁

I don't get the pudding hate. Much better than 'afters' imo.

I'm not keen on 'tasty' though. Tasty kind of tastes bad in my mouth and makes my ears itch.

Doing a "shop" or a "big shop", nope, that's American. It's called shopping, however you dress it up.

Someone said 'galore'. It's up there with 'jubilee' and 'jamboree' as words I could say out loud unless sounding like you're taking the piss.

Pudding is lovely though. There's a place called Puddington which always sounds like a cosy place to live.

I agree pudding sounds old-fashioned and upper class, I’ve only heard posh people say it.
