Very rich friend, 45, what do I buy her for £50?

It's my friend's birthday and she's just had a difficult time so I want to buy her a nice present, budget £50. But unlike me she is absolutely minted and has literally everything she wants, from expensive weekly flower deliveries and super expensive candles burning in every room to organic beauty products and £400 cashmere jerseys.

What on earth shall I get her? She likes yoga, eating healthily, riding, and dogs.

For my DH's recent birthday his best friend did something lovely. He chose four books that he thought suited different parts of his temperament/personality/likes/memories they shared and wrote a lovely small paragraph about each and why it connectedness with him. It was such a thoughtful and lovely gift but can't have cost him more than £30.

Oooh yes something like this - maybe food that means something to her / to you and with a gift card attached to explain why

Dont be snob here but I’m rich and i reakky dont appreciate when my friend buy me some expensive presents when i know they can be struggle with it.

what i would appreciate is if my friend take me to have brunch or tea. No need to be in super expensive cafe. Just in ivy its enough.

or candle or diffuser from decent maker. Because i always use candle. Like your friend love candle. Ask her what her favorite candle brand and buy her that. Because she is gonna use it.

Magazine subscription
Spa treatment/voucher
Flowers/cake/chocolates
Anew healthy eating recipe book
Treat her to a meal or afternoon tea out together

Focus on the thought, not that she already has stuff!

All
more than £50

Pay for her to sponsor an overlooked dog for a year -

she could even visit one of them if you picked from this lovely list.
if she loves dogs she will love tbis and very personal. You could visit the sponsor dog with her. She might even adopt it!

Has she got a garden? If yes, maybe a tree? My mother used to buy a magnolia tree for new babies or weddings to mark the celebration. My son is 31 now and his tree is still an absolute favourite in the garden, you said she's been having a tough time so maybe a tree to signify to new beginning.

Take her to get a tattoo and to spoons for a pitcher of cocktails, celebrate 45 as she means to go on!

Bottle of Nyetimber and some Aesop hand wash.

Absolutely LOVE these ideas, some real real gems. And some that made me laugh out loud - a tatt and a trip to Spoons is brilliant!!!

There are so many really great ones I'm going to investigate, starting I think with soundbaths - I'm not really sure what they are but they sound right up her street.

Thank you all!

Another vote for a coffee meeting / breakfast etc.
People with lots of money don't usually want things, but they'll value your time if they're a good friend.

Nice personalised day out where you make a nice picnic that can be eaten in the car if needs be of her favourite foods in one of her favourite pleases then a voucher that you can make yourself for a keepsake of a photo product of a photo from the day, such as a tote bag.

if she has a pet a pet portrait possibly?

Thinking about what my millionaire friends buy each other…massage or facial vouchers at local places. Yes they can afford to buy these things themselves but so busy with life if you have a voucher it MAKES you book in and do something for yourself.

£50 bottle of vintage champagne (not Prosecco). Or if you know what spirits they like really special bottle for £50 eg Chase Gin is amazing and £50/bottle.

a couple of special new release hardbacks (with gift receipts)

Vintage champagne for £50?

Try a Shakti mat - I got one from Aldi of all places and my daughter in law said it was the best present ever 👍🏿☘️

Soundbaths are lovely you lie all cosy and it's the most relaxing thing ever. She's probably tried them if she likes this type stuff. I do them all the time but would still be thrilled to get as a gift.

Might also be called gong bath.
