Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
I am a single mum to a five year old and was just so proud of her. She made me a latte with our coffee machine, surprised me with two homemade cards, and my dad popped over to help her make me breakfast in bed.

Favourite things were homemade cards from my children from school. 3 year old also gave me some daisies from the garden. Oh and a gift bag full of some of her stuffed toys 🤷😂
Also had steak last night and breakfast cooked for me this morning 🙂

I've recently gone NC with my own toxic mother who was incredibly ungrateful and materialistic. It's the small things from my kids for me.

I've read each and every one of these. Some made me cry, so beautiful.
Heart goes out to anyone who has lost their mum or has to maintain NC due to toxicity 💐@Phos your DD sounds so sweet. You've all got such lovely DCs.
My DD said she thought it was tomorrow haha. Son made a card but didn't write it yet. Our tot made a biscuit at school which he took out the tissue paper to show me and then dropped it in the school yard. I've asked for a coffee whilst we are out and about while I buy my lovely mum a bunch of flowers and card to surprise her later.
