My son loves school dinner curry- it's his favourite meal but any curry that I have bought/ made he doesn't like! Has any one got any suggestions that I could either buy or make?

My fussy child likes the Lloyd grossman jar sauces, the korma or tikka masala ones.

I make this at my 4 year old's request every other week or so, it's been a firm favourite for a while. www.hairybikers.com/recipes/view/chicken-korma

My fussy eater website/ app has a yummy chicken curry that my whole family love. Very mild and packed with veg.

DD age 6 loves curry at school - they have 2 types I rotation, one is a Korma, one a Tikka. After much trial.and error the closest at home has been Lloyd Grosman Korma Sauce and the Sharwoods Extra Creamy Tikka Sauce. Pack of microwave rice, some naan bread, jobs a good'un!

....should say her school meal.provider is Chartwells in case anyone else is trying to match food their kids eat at school but not at home!

I cheat for the kids and use a jar. Meridian or M&S korma generally. And then they have yoghurt with it.

I cover loads of sweet potato, carrots, onions and garlic in Korma paste then roast in the oven. Once soft, blend with some boiling water. Combine 100g coconut cream with 400ml boiling water and simmer together with the veg puree for 10 minutes. The coconut cream makes all the difference for me.
My eldest doesn't like meat, but for my youngest, I coat chicken breast chunks in curry powder then pan/air fry

Katsu

My 10 and 5 year old love this one and so do we! It's delicious and easy - I don't brown anything off first just bung it all in and I omit the onion.

When they were younger I made this one minus the peas and using full fat coconut milk and they loved it. In fact they still ask for it now! It's very tasty.
