I finally have one! Tom Hanks. I've always been a massive fan anyway I just think he's amazing as a person and as an actor but lately I find him really handsome even though it's never crossed my mind before. My tastes are changing as I age I suppose (38). He's getting on a little bit now but I still think he's lovely, more so thinking of Green Mile / Saving Private Ryan era. It's the lopsided smile... it just grabs me 😍

So come on I'm curious. Who's yours?

Frank Whaley but only as Jim Dodge in Career Opportunities

JoBrodie · 06/03/2023 09:03

Jason Alexander.

Smart, funny and hugely talented: acts (won a Tony award shortly before he took on the role of George Costanza in Seinfeld), dances, sings, directs, teaches acting, he's a podcast co-host and award-winning magician. Plus he comes across as a real sweetheart.

Here he is in a slightly rumpled sage-green shirt with a twinkly smile :-)

Good call! Certainly not obvious!

I'd probably have voted Tory if he'd won the leadership election.

Me too!!

Actually, whilst I'm at it , I've also got a major thing for Alistair Campbell.

As you can imagine, I enjoy listening to "The Rest is Politics"!

Ed Harris in the years between The Rock and Appaloosa.

Plus in The Truman Show. My heavens.

I had one of 'those' dreams about the taller Hairy Biker once. That threw me off course for weeks

Otherwise I agree with a pp about Stellan Skarsgard. I even sat through Breaking the Waves because of him.

Another vote for Michael Kitchen here. It's the voice that does it for me, plus the slight twinkle in the eye and the air of calm intelligence.

Mind you, I liked him as the angelic-looking sociopath in "Brimstone and Treacle" all those years ago - a magnificent and disturbing acting performance.

chatelai · 06/03/2023 09:41

Andy Oliver off Great British Menu

Tom Kerridge

Paul Bettany

Rowan Atkinson in the Tudor Blackadder

Rik Mayall as Flash

Mr Incredible (we're allowed cartoon characters, right?)

Really hot Sikh Chef, had a series a while back...Tony Singh

Brian Blessed

There are just so many!

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 06/03/2023 09:41

Chris O'Dowd...he's tall and funny and can be rather attractive. Grin

A long time ago I had a massive crush on Peter Bowles in "To the manor born"...I was a bloody child 😂

Also Chris Packham but only because I met him when I was very young maybe 8, at a really wild show convention and he was nice to everyone

I see this.

Quite aside from the fact that he's wearing incredibly well for a bloke of 60, there's something very attractive about his fearlessness, passion and conviction. He's also intelligent. I could never fancy a thick bloke, which counts out most footballers!

IAcceptCookies · 06/03/2023 09:54

Chris Packham is bloody gorgeous, FGS!
His fanciability is very obvious.

Yes! Omg to people comparing him to a mouse. Even magicians value mice highly

Riverlee · 06/03/2023 09:59

Chris Packham is 60!!! Mind blown - thought he was early fifties

(Just had to Google to check this is correct, although Wikipedia lists him as 61).

I agree, anyone who is passionate about something. Especially wildlife is usually in my heart

I have to add Noel Fitzpatrick now as well because he is doing some amazing stuff with animals
