For those who were born in their due date….

Not quite a thread about a thread but another thread got me thinking:-

I was born on my due date. Only about 4% of babies are.

Whenever I tell people about it (rarely but I did when we were all having babies as quite relevant then…) people always comment that I would be as it fits my personality. (I’m very logical, organised, detail oriented and slightly obsessive.)

Obviously a clear case of confirmation bias but just interested to know the personalities of other due date babies…..

As my lovely midwife said, when she gave me my due dates, so expect your baby to arrive two weeks before or after the date.

DD1 was just about on her due date. the other two were early.
She's far and away the most organised and on time of the lot.

Both of my children were born on their due dates - wish I'd put a bet on that! One is very detail oriented but not not particularly punctual. The other is more punctual but perhaps less focussed on details. So I don't think there is really any link.

DD was born 3 days late...the only time she's not been on time for something in her life. She is very organised and has the memory of an elephant when it comes to dates and times. I'm the same, 4 days late and organised and logical in my thinking. Both my siblings were early (as was DP), and, without exception they are the most disorganised, forgetful people I know.

Can I add that ds2 who was a footling breech has been awkward his whole life. If there is a straightforward way to do something it's swerved for a much more difficult path. Example in point whilst he was working away he got stuck in reception after hours because he didn't have the necessary pass. He could have phoned either security or somebody he was working with to swipe him through. But no, that was too easy, instead he climbed the outside of the fire escape and got in that way instead. This was caught on security cameras and played in a meeting with his boss who said it illustrated the extra mile his employees were prepared to go to meet customer's needs.

I'm also pretty organised and like to have a plan. Drives my friend who never forward plans mad.

I was born on my due date, but my poor mum was induced as the hospital thought I had a heart condition. She had an awful induction experience, awful birth and there was nothing wrong with me, I was just a tiny baby (4lbs something). It really traumatised her!
