Me and DH have have recently discovered old Top of the Pops episodes on BBC 4 and a lot of the songs featured in old films, prompting a lot of nostalgia in our house!
So I’m making a list of classic 80’s and early 90’s films to rewatch.
So far I’ve got:
At Elmo’s Fire
Mannequin
Ferris Bueller’s day off
Pretty in pink
Girls just wanna have fun
Top Gun
Dead Poets Society
Ghost
Anyone care to add anymore?

Ruthless People. Breakdance.

No Way out And The Big Easy are fab films, too.

Point Break!

Loved Crossing Delancey and the theme tune. Amy Irving and Peter Reigert???
A remake of Young Guns with the same cast would have to be Old Guns.
As they are all my age or close I would still fancy them haha.

The Superman films, with Christopher Reeve.

The Guardian (cheesy horror)

Does anyone remember the two Friday night horror movies? Might have been 90s rather than 80s (Vault of horror perhaps?) There was a teen horror about a friend who was turned into a vampire and he was trying to keep up with them in the sewers below. No idea what it was called.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Roadhouse; so cheesy, so 80s!

I watched that for the first time recently. I was expecting cheesy nonsense but it's actually violent af. Throats being slashed and all sorts. None of the anticipated dancing on bars and singing of cheesy choons.
