Me and DH have have recently discovered old Top of the Pops episodes on BBC 4 and a lot of the songs featured in old films, prompting a lot of nostalgia in our house!
So I’m making a list of classic 80’s and early 90’s films to rewatch.
So far I’ve got:
At Elmo’s Fire
Mannequin
Ferris Bueller’s day off
Pretty in pink
Girls just wanna have fun
Top Gun
Dead Poets Society
Ghost
Anyone care to add anymore?

Apparently there's Young Guns III in the works! Though arguably they aren't exactly young anymore...

I had forgotten all about this movie!!
Pure nostalgia!
Suddenly I’m back at a teen sleepover with half a bottle of vodka that my friend had smuggled from her parents liquor cabinet and 10 B&H that someone’s older brother had bought for us at the dodgy corner shop!!

I loved Trading Places, although the film apparently now comes with ‘content warnings’ written by people who are too thick to understand that it was about mocking & undermining racial stereotypes…

Aliens
