More problems to come because of our post Brexit insistence on going it alone and sourcing things from the furthest possible far flung places instead of our own continent just across that body of water, plus the state of our economy.

Our position is just generally so much weaker and more vulnerable these days.

I've noticed a flaw in the cunning Singapore-On-Thames plan. London is 2.2 times the size of Singapore which relies on Malaysia for basic things like water.

So the Tories need to hand London over to its elected representative and relocate their chamber somewhere with sensible transport links like Crewe.

Absolutely. Why would you buy food from somewhere you can see from the Kent coast rather than Morocco or New Zealand.
Shooting ourselves in the foot is a massive understatement.
Plus, we've put people in charge of Brexit who couldn't run a bath.

Well, I'm trying to solve it locally by chucking some veg seeds int he ground again. It's been a few seasons since I was able to but I think it's getting more important again.

Might even see if I can get some space in DMILs garden for things that need less constant care.

Yes tomatoes are definitely available in other non-Mediterranean countries (attached photo is of part of the tomato selection at supermarket today in rural central Sweden) but are not making it to the UK. Prices are definitely higher though.

But Ukraine isn’t in the EU either.

But Ukraine isn’t in the EU either.

Ukraine is in the DCFTA which grantees regulatory alignment and gives access to the single market.
