I've starting working in a new job were they are great and training people up and moving them on which has got me think thinking about what I would like to do. As
I've already stated I enjoy people, making them feel relaxed and getting to know them. What would be a good fit for me?

I work in weddings. Being a good people person is a pre-requisite! I love meeting people and building relationships and being involved in a significant life event. It's mostly fun work and rewarding too, but it can be a bit intense and sometimes a tiny bit soul destroying...

How lovely!!! I imagine on the best days that is a fabulous job however I imagine the level of bridzilla-ness you encounter is fierce.

Interested to hear people's responses here . I have just left an office job ( insurance ) I enjoyed the helping aspect of it as I do claims but as time has gone by it's got quieter and quieter so I'm now going to be a Dr's receptionist, lots of grief I expect but I'm hoping that it evens itself out with the helping aspect !

I adore it actually, my fave social work role so far. I get to know my children, families and carers so well, I build trusting relationships with them and help them when things go wrong or they're upset etc, and celebrate their successes. Also ruin their dreams of being allowed to go out partying all night age 15. It's a lot like having 20 extra children.

See I’m the opposite so thinking in my organisation of jobs I’d be shit at (being a non people person) I’d recommend sales or customer service for a housing developer

I work in adult social care with vulnerable people, mostly those with profound disabilities and/or learning difficulties. It's such a rewarding job, every day is different and some can be challenging, but I really enjoy it.

Probation Officer - the only skill I've ever really had is talking so I was lucky to find a career that suited me!
