Where can I get a large oriental-style rug for less than £750?

I would love this rug for my living room but my budget is only £750. Would it be too optimistic to think I might get something mass-produced in a similar style and colour? Any recommendations on where to look?

I got mine in Wood Green market, it's on the ground floor of the shopping mall. Not very salubrious, but there is also a Primark and a TK Maxx there, and you can park nearby quite cheaply.

I always check FB marketplace and similar first :) cheaper and more environmentally friendly to buy second hand.

Second hand. Market stalls. Local auction houses.

I sold quite a few when I downsized as they were too large for the new house. Bloody fabulous rugs all of them.

Flea markets, antique shops (not high end ones though), Rugrabbit.com (although most are antique, but many of the dealers have loads of cheaper ones). I often see signs for rug sales (new) in village halls (n Somerset area) and auction rooms, you can put in a bid without attending the sale but do view first.
A lot of independent carpet shops also sell good rugs.

I have something similar in my home. It's from eBay (new) £80 for the almost-room-sized rug, £25 for the very-nearly-matching runner to fill up the remaining space. People don't realise it isn't fitted carpet.

I bought mine from Nain Trading. Authentic, hand knotted, pure wool, supports locals rather than mass produced. You can search by colour and size. www.naintrading.co.uk/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5oPQ-7qT_QIVSevtCh1DYww8EAAYASAAEgIYg_D_BwE
