If the Aliens come

So reading about an unidentified aircraft being shot down again. I know it's probably Chinese aircraft but I'm wondering what the world / MNers would do if Aliens do in future arrive ? I personally think we aren't evolved enough to comprehend contact with another species. It should be kept hidden if there is alien life. We spend a lot of time fighting and destroying each other for small bits of land. I hope if it is friendly Aliens they cease trying to contact and wait for another few hundred years.

They would farm us, the way we farm animals. We'd be sent to vivisection units for experimentation then turned into fertiliser.

If aliens have sufficient technology to reach us then they have enough wisdom not to come down to earth. They can hear the nightmare that we are from space. You wouldn't need to land, you could learn/see everything from above.

Is anyone a bit concerned about how it’s being reported though? Almost like ‘they’ want us to think it’s aliens…it’s really weird and a bit unsettling. Reminds me of the feeling I got at the start of Covid. Like something big was about to happen.

Alien films etc are really not my thing, but I do like disaster films (the old daft ones anyway) so last night I watched Independence Day-saster. it's as daft as they come, but it did make me think!

despite my age, I still expect Alien Lifeform to somewhat resemble humans/ET and not,say, a box, hairbrush, anything else.

The old cartoons of aliens watching humans (there was a series of them) the memory still makes me laugh.

in my favourite they're trying to understand why we pack up our ships (vehicles) transport ourselves (drive) 200 miles to put up shelters (tents) and spend countless nights sleeping on the ground outside, toileting in boxes or outside and incinerating our food etc etc

Always used to make me laugh a lot when we went camping.

How do you know they haven't already been here's ,I was watching something in Netflix about used claimed mysteries and one of the documentaries was about. UFO,s and.an incident over lake Eerie( I think.) In the early 90,s fascinating.

Hmmmm - the US government considered me to be an Alien until I got my US citizenship…..

On the other hand, I’m sure we could play some Conway Twitty crooning songs eg. ‘When I’m Calling You…oo..ooo.oooo’ from loudspeakers and loudhailers on the top of cars and trucks.
