Ok - what are these flying objects the US keeps shooting down

First the ballon

Then a mysterious object the size of a car

now another BBC alert they are tracking another “ufo” across Canada…..

Chinese?

Aliens?

I don’t know what to think about this. I used to have really strong opinions. Until yesterday. When something, or someone, flew into my bedroom and inserted a micro chip into my brain. I didn’t even know McCains still made them, frankly. I know nothing.

Balloon type icon have popped up on flight radar for several years...sometimes they are as explained here:

Other times I suspect it's hackers having fun.....

I’ve been looking for a thread about this since yesterday. Why is there no mass hysteria yet?! I’m really surprised no one seams very interested. Love the Mulder and Scully pic- that was my first thought when I heard FBI investigating. Off to play a bit of Catatonia.

From what I can gather
the train that crashed was carrying toxic chemicals

opinions vary in how far that damage will go. Residents told to evacuate in a one mile radius but I can certainly see why those in a much wider radius would panic.

The first one that was reported was said to be the size of three buses. I was picturing a UK bus but they probably mean a US bus.
