Can anyone recommend a Catholic school in the south of England?

Looking for a secondary school for my DS - he needs good teaching and good behaviour but not too much pressure. Somewhere nurturing, non-selective and ideally Catholic. Could be anywhere in the south of England as we’re planning to move. Any recommendations?

When was this? By his teacher? Mugged? It’s in an area not known at all for muggings. There are other schools and a primary school on the same site. I haven’t heard about this.

My friend used to teach at Mayfield, he said it was a lovely school. Also knew someone who worked in a boarding house there.

There's Leweston School in Dorset. I know nothing more about it other than it is Catholic, though.

I haven't heard about this at all it's not been in the paper or on the local Facebook page. I still know people who work there. I'll ask tomorrow as I'll be very disappointed and upset as will many of my friends and my DC's friends if this is the case

This is really helpful. Does anyone have any particularly good experiences they can share? I will check out the Times report

Both of my children are at St Peter's in Guildford. It's a brilliant school and well deserves the Times award.

At Simon Stock in Maidstone

Came on to say St Simon Stock in Maidstone which has a very good reputation.

Never had any problems with taking my son to school.

A Catholic, all boys school. My son loved it there and did very well.
