I'm really interested. I'm facing needing to get a new job and I'd like to continue working from home. I know there is lots more out there now post-pandemic. So, if you work from home, what do you do? Do you like it?

I’m in clinical research on the data side. I love it!

mobear · 17/01/2023 23:16

Another risk analyst. I go in three days a week but there are fully remote roles available.

Namechanger355 · 17/01/2023 23:19

Tax consultant /partner in big 4 accounting firm - but our whole team can wfh 3 days a week - and people often wfh more than that, even the grads

Clearas · 17/01/2023 23:24

University lecturer teaching postgraduate students, occasionally teach face to face but its mainly online. It can get abit monotonous, work load is significant, 12 hours yesterday and 11 today. Love seeing others grow and succeed and I don't mind working from home as hubby is hybrid so we have become office buddies!

Livelovebehappy · 17/01/2023 23:33

PA to banking executive. I wfh fulltime as I’m based up North and he is in London. It works really well.

Jimmyneutronsforehead · 17/01/2023 23:50

Sales for a mobile phone provider. I dont particularly like the work, but I like the people, the bonus, the flexibility and the lack of commute.

I don't genuinely think I like any kind of work though, so taking that into consideration I'd give my place a decent review.

TheOrigRights · 17/01/2023 23:51

Editor of a scientific journal.
I've wfh for years. Love it. I have a garden office. Without that I would hate it.
I'm a lone parent and childcare has been a difficulty during the school holidays, but I'm coming out of the other side of that now.

StreyyTV · 17/01/2023 23:55

Data Engineer. I love it. Always feel like I'm giving my brain a good workout, plus it's great for introverts. I just sit in the spare room with my dog, put some tunes on, drink some tea, and chip away at whatever task comes in.

MsDemeanors · 17/01/2023 23:55

Scriptwriter for kids' telly. I have probably written things that have really annoyed you but that your kids love.

mackthepony · 17/01/2023 23:56

Work for a Bank, I write bids and proposals.

In the office only one day a week, every other week.

Love wfh

Mummyof287 · 18/01/2023 14:17

Really enjoy the option to work from home, feels so much more flexible especially since having children

yoshiblue · 18/01/2023 14:21

Digital Product Manager - so many tech roles are WFH or minimal office time eg product, project management, business analysis, software engineers, designers, testers

I love it and couldn't stand being in the office more than once per week!

Work for a local authority, don't speak to anyone except colleagues amd only go in 1 day a week, occasionally 2, but thats not often.

Same but don't go in at all. Loads and loads of vacancies on our website too, some positively promote home-working as they are desperate to fill the positions.

Minniem2020 · 18/01/2023 14:37

I work for a contact centre for a travel company. It's fully WFH.
