Bodie and Doyle,

I preferred Bodie, although still struggle to remember who was who, I preferred Lewis Collins,

any other pairings?

Hutch...although Starsky has definitely ripened better. Bodie, Pete Duel and Luke Duke.

Starsky, as a teenager I had an S&H calendar and one month was Starsky lying barechested against a haybale...the calendar just stayed on that month all year.
Kid Curry when a teenager, but it'd be Hannibal Heyes now.

@CurlewKate That's the best Freudian slip ever.

I was quite a fan back then, though I haven't seen it for many years. Yes, Starsky didn't like the countryside, and the photo wasn't taken from the series, it was staged and must have been a photoshoot. I've just googled to try and find it, but nothing. It would have been about 1979 maybe? It was something like the photo for May 1977 on this calendar, but this isn't it. tinyurl.com/2p84uvhn
