Bodie. Mainly down to that Capri.

heldinadream · 15/01/2023 10:38

Cagney and Lacey for me.
Tyne Daly as Mary Beth Lacey, even though politically I'm more of a Cagney gal. Gotta love them both really. 💕

Tamarindtree · 15/01/2023 10:40

Dukes of Hazzard?

who did you prefer? Starskey or Hutch?
squashyhat · 15/01/2023 10:42

Starsky - but as played by Owen Wilson in the film
Crockett all the way - Don Johnson has still got it

Hutch. I think it was his jumpers. Bodie, of course, he was very cool.

The original, not the film!

Same. Starsky and Bodie. Deep down. I could never forgive David Soul for ‘Silver Lady’.

fUNNYfACE36 · 15/01/2023 11:10

David soul was my first crush!

Coffeecreme · 15/01/2023 11:17

Incidentally and on a slight tangent, the radio call signs used by Steve Arnott and Kate Fleming on Line of Duty are ‘Three-seven’ and ‘Four-five’. Which are the exact same call signs used by Bodie and Doyle. It’s a little homage to The Professionals from Jed Mecurio.

When I heard them for the first time, I got a lot more excited than I really should have.

hattymattie · 15/01/2023 11:23

Hutch and Doyle (Lewis Collins) - were the Professionals camp? Obviously went over the head of my 13 year old self.

Coffeecreme · 15/01/2023 11:27

thats interesting @DomesticShortHair

Starsky.
I didn't much care about any of the others mentioned, but going back a bit, and speaking of super camp duos that went largely over my head, I bid you the Man from UNCLE.
I sighed over Illya Kuryakin (and I don't usually go for blond men)

WhippetyStourie · 15/01/2023 11:32

Hutch, Bodie and Bo Duke.

Ginisatonic · 15/01/2023 11:32

Starsky, Crockett and whichever one Pete ‘swoon’ Duel played.

Lampzade · 15/01/2023 11:34

Hutch in Starsky and Hutch

Preferred Bodie in The Professionals

TwoMonthsOff · 15/01/2023 11:36

slamwich · 15/01/2023 11:41

Coffeecreme · 15/01/2023 11:41
