I'm.sat waiting for new cleaners to come and I've got the wobbles - onlybhad 1 before was rubbish and only dh met her

I don't know where to put myself or what to say when they get here

I'm leaving for work while they clean so just need quick intro etc

I'm.a professional woman for fucks sake!

What daft things make you twitchy to make me feel less weird?

Looking for a parking space, even at work or at the supermarket where I go regularly.
it’s ten time worse when I’m going somewhere new. I google street image the building I am going to so I can see if there is a car park.

Going to big parties or weddings etc. OMG the exhaustion of having to chat small talk for hours kills me with dread.

But I usually relax after a little while, and it's never as bad as I think. I don't drink so no help from a few proseccos or the like to help either!

Balloons.

Also relate to all the driving ones - being followed by someone I know (I find reasons to delay and have also been known to fake a detour somewhere close by) and going somewhere unfamiliar - nothing to do with the actual driving but not knowing what parking will be available. On a similar note, finding an elusive parking space outside someone's house in a residential area - I always worry that someone will come flying out of the house to tell me off for parking there.

I'm not a nervous flyer at all and frequently take trips for work without worrying. But I get really nervous if I'm flying with DH or another friend/family member/loved one and we are separated on the plane. I get very anxious about the plane crashing and not being with my loved one at the end; not knowing if they are already dead, or what they might be going through in a different part of the plane.

Omg yes to balloons! ❤

I'm weird I suppose that I don't like indoor or outdoor spaces. I have agoraphobia and claustrophobia 🙈

WRT nuns, I think that some orders don’t do the veils-and-long-habit outfits any more. I’m sure last time I saw a Sister at the local Catholic primary school, she was just dressed in a boring ordinary blouse, skirt and cardigan with a prominent crucifix round her neck.

Much less scary.

Worried for nothing as usual. The girls were lovely and rhw house was sparkling after they left!

I'll still fret when they come back in a fortnight though 🙈
