This really.

The only one I listen to is Shagged Married Annoyed which is funny. But I’m looking to expand my horizons. Maybe even learn something!

I absolutely love Stand up for the classics by Natalie Haynes. Really interesting, funny and I learned how to pronounce all those Greek names properly Grin

One of my favourites is Generally Spooky Podcast. Scottish history with a bit of spookiness.

I also have just started listening to The Poisoners’ Cabinet, true crime based around poisoning.

I like Haunted UK Podcast for spooky stories and have dipped in and out of Haunted Histories Chronicles.

For a bit of humour Bzzn The Tower is all about 80’s movies.

I only really use BBC Sounds. My favourites are:

Infinite Monkey Cage
You're Dead to Me
Evil Genius
Rutherford and Fry
Bad People
CrowdScience
Uncanny (and anything Danny Robins)

Apart from the last one, they will all teach you something as well as make you laugh.

I'm going to give Three Bean Salad a go based on this thread.

Oooh wonderful
Thread. Thanks OP

My favourites are

Crime junkie - great true crime although v USA centric
The Magnus Archives. - a spooky podcast set around a fictional agency that archives details of unusual events. V addictive.
My therapist ghosted me. - really funny gossipy giggle with Vogue Matthews & her friend a comedian. They're both Irish & you end up feeling you're on a group chat with pals. Great fun.

If you want a laugh try Older and Wider, I listen every Friday to this, never fails to make me laugh - Jenny Eclair and Judith Holder chatting about life. Judith is the creator of the grumpy old women tv show

Hey Babe because I love the New York accents. They are dismayingly dumb sometimes but generally loveable. Sal Vulcano and Chris DiStefano.

submariner Small Scenes on the Sounds app is written & performed by Mike Wozniak, Henry Paker, Daniel Rigby, Ben Partridge and Cariad Lloyd (or, as op I prefer to think of them, Malcolm, Jonathan, Roger, Hillary and Veronica Tooze, MBE). Very funny, and sometimes you catch ghosts of the sketches in the topics they discuss on Three Bean Salad.

Thank you!

Just started listening to Alan Carr after reading recommendation here-hilarious. Thank you

Great recommendations on here!

my current personal fave is I’m Grand Mam - two hilarious gay Irish guys talking about anything and everything
