Not a normal size block, one of the massive value ones the supermarkets sell 🤦‍♀️

I've had the entire fridge empty, to clean it, checked the cupboards. Not there 🤷‍♀️

I lost some cheese last week, three slices. Picked the plate up from behind me and whoosh! Crackers on floor. But where was the cheese?

I hunted high, I hunted low. Under the sofa, among the papers on the table...

Nary a sliver to be seen.

At long last, I noticed a tiny slosh of tea around my mug.

Yep. All three slices. Silently into the deep.

Still drank the tea, mind. Not gonna waste a good cuppa.

Does anyone in the house sleepwalk? 👀

More seriously, it might have been put away absentmindedly in the wrong place. Freezer, pantry, saucepan cupboard, with the chopping board… Or accidentally thrown away ☹️

I once completely and utterly lost a Terrys chocolate orange. I hunted high and low for 3 days. Couldnt find it anywhere. It finally turned up in the shed.......... where I had randomly put it along with some stuff to donate to charity!

This reminds me of a time my ex grabbed his foil wrapped sandwiches from the fridge to take to work for lunch.
Unwrapped at his desk at lunch time and he'd taken the foil wrapped block of cheddar instead 😂

My teenage son once ate a whole slab of Parmesan. We couldn't figure out where it had gone and took him about 2 days to admit to that one.

@Mumski45 no, no boys, just two girls - one very nearly 13, and the other almost 16.

@Ocrumbs there's only me who drinks & my limit is usually two glasses of wine, or whatever I'm drinking.

Definitely bought it - dd1 stood, in Asda, and worked out that the big block would be better for what we wanted it for, the Sunday before last. There should have been a hefty chunk left for a couple of pizzas tomorrow, and to put some in the cauli-cheese for Sunday.

Was there anything in the fridge that shouldn't have been?
