Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day before heading up to get dressed. The first load of washing's waiting to be hung, and second is in the machine.

Today's Panto day with my Rainbows and Guides, and my friend's Brownie unit! I'm so excited, but a bit gutted we've had a few drop outs for various reasons. I had to book a separate block of tickets so now just a handful will be "over there" with an adult 😢

First though, I'm heading into town to finish the last of my Christmas shopping, barring something for my Dad. I'm hoping I'll find something next week at Sheffield Christmas market.

Stew for tea, since it just does its thing in the slow cooker, probably accompanied by a glass of wine 🍷

We've been in just over an hour from Panto, stew's been eaten...was very filling! Christmas shopping's done apart from a few very small bits to pick up. Not a bad day 😊

Hope you enjoyed the stew. You inspired me this morning to do similar, except because I have covid, I decided to do a slow cooked beef madras instead. Tastes of nothing. Gutted.

Anyone who's had covid, please tell me positive stories about the sense of smell and taste coming back eventually. I think folk think it's like having a cold or a blocked up nose. No, it is a literal total loss of smell and taste.

It's just a bread mix today, as it's a new (this week) bread maker and I haven't had time to experiment yet.

On holiday in a warm place.
Breakfast shortly followed by my daily treatments.
Lunch, followed by swimming, sunbathing and reading.
Process to be repeated for a while, interspersed with the odd trip to places of interest.

Autistic teen son been shouting all weekend, he is riddled with anxiety but tried to access help for him but no help available

he swears relentlessly uses n and c word, he is angry about everything and blames me for everything.he’s very vocal. hasn’t stopped having a go at me about everything. He cannot look after himself and any rules or consequences he screams about.

he is so rigid and wants it all his way.

Today I have no plans .

yesterday was a busy day with friends and children, Friday was works Christmas do.

woke up, washed up, hung the washing out then have got back into bed with a brew .

we have no water pressure atm , apparently it will be back in the next few hours but we will see !

daughter off to a Christmas market today, husband at work till 5 ,

I might just read my book and let my son play on his Xbox for a disgusting amount of time.

but first , a nap 😴

Just finished breakfast and thinking of finishing off my Christmas cards and wrapping a few presents, but might mooch back up to bed for an hour! So very frosty out there - I've let the dogs out back and steeling myself for a walk at some point! Tesco delivery later.

Contemplating buying a Christmas tree.

Oh lovely lazy morning. Coffee in my hand. Outside its white with a hard frost. Really lovely. DH downstairs getting tea. I work in a big supermarket and yesterday it was busy with Christmas shoppers and noisy kids. Enjoying the peace this morning. Oh btw the supermarkets are fully stocked.

I’m sorry, @Pantsonthedrier . That sounds incredibly hard. I hope today is easier.

Ohh what breed? How exciting.

@failedmydog Cavapoo. He’s 12 weeks old, and has had a rocky start to life - he was already sold, but then the people who bought him originally decided they couldn’t cope with a puppy as also had a new baby, then when he went back to original owner, his mum jumped on him and broke his leg 🥺Thankfully, his leg is fully healed now.
off to collect him in half an hour!

@ItchyLips he’s currently causing havoc in our bedroom. Staying in his crate isn’t going too well 😍😬🐶
