It's a weekday before 5pm, but it's fucking freezing, work has been a bag of shite, and my washing machine has just packed in.

How long does Baileys last? It's been in the fridge in the garage, opened, since last xmas? Presume as it's creamy it'll be off? Can't be arsed to go out in the cold to check it.

It has a shelf life of 2 years from the bottling date - opened or unopened and doesn't need to refrigerated (but is very nice from the fridge).

The shelf life is also a "best before" if it is older it still wont kill you.

The rule is that Baileys is perfectly acceptable in any hot drink (yes including the coffee straight after the school run in the morning) at any time from 1st December. Fill your boots.

Has anyone seen 'Tipples' this year? Like those UHT milk pots that you get in cafes. Except they have Baileys, something else and cream in them. Absolutely to die for in coffee. But can't find them anywhere this year!

My machine stopped working this morning op. I got the little hose out of the bottom, emptied the water. Turned everything off and on again. Had to do it twice but it's working now.

You might have already done that but it's worth a go. Unless it's the belt.

Enjoy your Baileys I have 3 bottles of it for unspecified presents. I will not open them!

What do you think hot chocolate and kahula would taste like...?

I was in the supermarket today and one of the assistants made an announcement about the 25 per cent off wine for multiples of six bottles.

She added: "We also have a litre of Bailey's for just £1 while stocks last and that's a real bargain."

This is what I like: someone who throws herself into her job.

I'm joining you all, but not with Baileys because we don't get it here, but I had a strawberry version which is a similar sort of thing.

I couldn't use the washing machine even though it's not broken, as (like yesterday) have no electricity for 8 fckn hours today. 2hrs, then 4hrs then 2hrs. Then when it came on I forgot my jbl speaker was plugged in pretend charging, and the power surge popped it. I'm so upset. So I had to cook dinner using my phone speaker. And I cannot rock my tunes on my bloody phone speaker! I'm in a right huff now.

I don't think I have, but if you love coffee flavoured liqueurs you must try Kahlua as it's gorgeous!
