PIP - has anyone had this text after assessment?

My phone assessment was 18 November. Got a text 2 days later from DWP to say they’d recevied it and they’ll write back when they’d made a decision - probably within 8 weeks.

this morning I got a text saying they had not yet made a decision on my claim and would write when they have.

Does anyone know if this is usual. Is it a good/bad sign or is it just that they’re probably working through a backlog? TIA

@Sham2323 i havent had my assessment yet as they cancelled it x

LWCRA is Limited Work Capabilities for Related Activities.
My job involves lots of manual handling and so therefore I am unable to perform all my duties, the LWCRA is an award given by Universal credit, which allows me to still work and earn £379 a month before they take any money from my entitlement

You don't have to work to get pip, but if you do work and on UC, it's a further benefit you get in with your UC entitlement, no one else knows about it only yourself and UC, your employer is not informed of anything. I work for the NHS, Housekeeper in support services.

PIP does not entitle you to extra money on UC, are you thinking of the LCWRA assessment?
