What make of watch does your teen ds wear?

Is by any chance Casio still retro cool? I am lost otherwise. Dont want to spend too much.

I dont think he would know. He knows he wants a watch but when I asked analogue or digital he wasn’t sure. Also he doesn’t want me asking what he wants for Christmas as I have done that a lot and he just wants a surprise now.

Mine wear Apple Watches. Just ask him what brand and choose the colour/style

Can you get a second hand smart watch? Most of the people I know have switched to smart watches over the last few years

Mine has a Fitbit which he's happy with.

None of my kids wear them, they use their phone.

Ours shun their watches. They'd wear (but don't need) a smart watch but it'd probably get broken and/or be a distraction in class so they just use their phones.

One has Coros apex pro and the other a garmin forerunner as they are runners

DD has a Daniel Wellington that she loves but day to day uses her Apple watch

so a child wants a surprise for Christmas and that means they are NT?

Any way, my 12 year load has asked for a watch for Christmas, I will prob just get a Casio or similar but it’s a small present as he has a laptop as a main. I guess I might spend more if it’s a main present.

15 year old DS has a gold Tommy Hillfiger watch it was about £150 but he wears it all the time and it looks very smart.

He has a Fossil hybrid smart watch - analogue hands with a digital background. They're pretty cool, I'm a bit jealous tbh.

Casio (gshock) here. I'd thought a smart watch at his age but DH is very against them and insisted on a proper watch.

My son is little bit older, but he likes the Camden watches.

I think my brother (21) wears the casio f91.

DD doesn't wear one. Hardly anyone in her school does.

Smart watches are not alllowed in her school anyway, so better check the uniform list.

I would recommend asking him to research and give you a couple of links. This is how we do it with DD as she has so specific tastes, it would be a waste of money otherwise.

DS asked for a military style watch (he’s just joined the air cadets) and he chose a Casio GShock that can apparently be run over by a tank. He’s over the moon with it. They aren’t allowed smart watches at school so he’ll be able to wear the Casio instead. He loves watches and chose a Ferrari watch last year. DD has an Apple Watch, but for school wears a very retro , and cheap, Casio watch.

Ds has 3 watches. He has a Samsung smart watch, a Casio calculator watch which bizarrely his friends think is very cool and a nicer analogue watch with a super Mario face.

As a teen dd had a Fitbit initially but the straps gets breaking and having to be replaced (Fitbit used to replace the straps for free at least) but then moved on to having an Apple Watch. Still does now at 20y.

She never wore a non-smart watch.

Most of her friends had smart watches.
