Hi @ILoveAllRainbowsx sorry I missed your reply.

As @MarmiteWine says, there's no clue to start with. The clues I referred to come from things like the pattern of the words, the number of letters (there are only few 2 letter words for example and 3 letter words are often "and" and "the")
I do random word guesses to start with to get as many letters on the grid or eliminate letters.
It's a bit like doing several wordles at once but with words of different numbers of letters.
As soon you get a correct word it helps you guess other words. It's quite hard to explain but the phrase just emerges.
There are a few rogue American phrases but they're generally well known expressions. (Althouhh of course I can't remember any!! 🤣)

May I join? I only started last week but have been trying a few in the archive. I sometimes can't figure out why the words are related at all.

But today's was a bit clearer. Should have got it in 5 really, was being a bit dense!

@Stokey , hello! Don't worry about the connection. Sometimes the words are all connected, sometimes they are only connected to one other.

So Silly is connected to Goose and to Putty, but putty isn't connected to goose.
Party, Dance and Flirt are all loosely connected.
