The starting word has letters in common with either the first word or the second word or both.
The first and second words have no letters in common.
The first and second words are often/usually related in some way to the starting word.
If you get a row of green squares and a "huh" that means that the word you have created isn't one of the two you're looking for. However, all those letters are in those places but spread between the first and second words.

How do you share to here without all the squares showing up? I usually share by wottsapp!

I like that you can go through the old ones! 140 odd to practice on.

@picklemewalnuts there’s a tiny little share button just between where it says whether you’ve won or lost and where it reveals the answers, but hard to spot! Press that then it should give you done options, choose copy, then come in here and paste into a post

Well you seem to have done alright!

A letter can only be used in one of the words, which narrows it down a lot.

If you have two greens in the same column, you are well on the way.

I'm going to waste a massive amount of time now trying all the past ones

I may have gone quite far down the rabbit hole archive, but I got both words in this one with two guesses, so I’m a bit excited!
